These terms cover your use of the Lumen Cycle mobile app and this website. Installing or using the app means you accept them.

Not medical advice

Predictions are statistical estimates calculated from the dates you enter. Cycles shift with stress, illness, travel, sleep, medication and many other things the app cannot see. Nothing it displays — including the fertile window and ovulation estimate — should be relied on to achieve or avoid pregnancy, to diagnose a condition, or in place of advice from a qualified healthcare professional. If something about your cycle worries you, speak to a doctor.

Your data is your responsibility

Because everything is stored only on your device, we hold no copy and cannot restore anything for you. If you lose or reset your phone, uninstall the app, or clear its data, the logged history is gone. Use “Export my data” if you want a backup, and store that file somewhere you trust.

Acceptable use

• Use the app for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Do not decompile, reverse engineer or redistribute it except where that right cannot be excluded by law.
• Do not use it in any way that breaks the law where you are.

Availability and updates

The app is provided as-is. We may release updates that change, add or remove features, and we may stop distributing it. Since the app works entirely offline, an update you have not installed does not stop the version on your phone from working.

Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of predictions. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on those predictions, from lost data, or from decisions made using the app.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions do not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
